1. First, I decided to do research and brainstorming to have an idea on what I would like to do. My first plan was to do outer space but I wanted to do something no one really thought of, which was a Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild shrine. I started out with my gradient background, which I used the gradient fill tool for. Next I started to add my mountains using the pen tool. This part of my project was quick and wasn’t stressful. Next I started to create the shrine, by using a photo and tracing it. The hardest part was after this, tracing the lines of orange light that goes around the shrine. Each part was traced using the pen tool which was stressful and took a lot of time. After tracing the lines of light I added an effect which was the drop shadow to add a glowing effect. For this part Cmd+Z was used a lot as some shapes were not satisfactory. After making the shrine, I started to add more detail such as the moon, stars, trees, and clouds. The moon was self-made. Along with the stars too. The stars were made using the distort and transform pucker and bloat effect. I used the symbol sprayer tool to add many stars to save time. For the trees I used an online image of a tree silhouette and image traced it. I finalized my vector landscape and uploaded it to my website! The final name for this landscape is Night Shrine Quest.

2. Animators and color stylists use Ai in their profession to create professional, minimalistic pieces of artwork for their job and can be animated in After Effects.

3. The type of landscape I setted out to create was a mix of plains, forests, and mountains. Yes, the final product met the expectations I set for myself. It was what I thought of in my mind! I added a little shrine on the mountain as an extra detail.

4. Based on the learning target, “Apply refined observation and drawing skills to design and create a vector landscape with a foreground, middle ground, and background in Adobe Illustrator by using gradients, image trace, the pen tool, and shape tool sprayer” the level of mastery my project demonstrates is “Exceeds” as I went above the requirements with the shrine shape. The shrine is a custom shape and I have used the correct tools for the lighting. Lighting and shading also exceeded the expectations, I have thought about it throughout the whole project
