PSA PROJECT: CYBERSECURITY
1. Creating my PSA about CyberSecurity took a lot of patience and making the video to an “exceeding expectations” level. Using the pexels.com website for free stock B Roll clips really helped so I don’t have to record videos/ take pictures on my own to save time. I gathered my script and B Roll clips together, to create an outline on the storyboard to see how my PSA will turn out. As I finished the storyboard, I started making the video on Premiere Rush. I would add the clips/photos by using the add media button, and added text. Most of the clips have a transition graphic text where it would slide in to create a more neat modern effect. Others would have the Fall in large text catch the attention of others. A lot of transitions were used before and after each part of the PSA. The transitions are meant to match the transition(s) of the text to make it organized. For the interview, I decided to add a audio visualizer to make the video less plain while adding subtitles to it. To finish the video off, I added credits and then my PSA poster while fading out the music to make it more professional.
2. PSAs differ from traditional advertisement by spreading awareness through eye catching videos, clips, audio while traditional advertisement pops up to sell something.
2. The topic I created my PSA about was CyberSecurity. It is important to me because as someone who browses through the internet at least once a day, it is very important to know the precautions and safety on the internet. People who browse the internet as much as me should know the precautions and safety and should avoid cyberattacks.
3. Based on the learning target, “Understand the component steps and skills required to design, edit, and produce a Public Service Announcements by producing a storyboard, script, audio clips, video clips and other supporting media then combining them in Adobe Premiere Rush” The level of mastery my project demonstrates “Exceeds”. I think this because I have gone past the expectations by adding more video clips, and being able to interview someone 1 on 1. I also went above and used Adobe After Effects to create the transparent Audio Visualizer that shows during the interview due to Premiere Rush not having this graphic.
